The Stag and Hounds - Burrough on the Hill:

The Pub is just around the corner about 50 metres away.  Operating formerly as Grants Freehouse, this 16th century inn reopened in September 2019 following a subtle make-over, reverting back to its original name the Stag & Hounds. A 'relaxed dining pub', food is sourced from local suppliers, championing the best of the area's offerings.  Recently received the Michelin Bib Gourmand award Dining Pub of the year 2021. Beers are a mix of firm favourites and locally sourced including beers brewed by the Parish Brewery which is located in an adjacent out-building.

The Stilton Cheese Inn is on the main road through the village (High Street). The Stilton Cheese has an excellent reputation for food and drink, offering a wide choice of traditional and unusual dishes, and a Specials Board with three regular real ales and two guest beers. Reasonably priced wines and a choice of 25+ malt whiskies are available, along with everything else you would expect to find in a good village pub. Open for good at lunchtime and in the evening.
